We’re A Story Called, and we started our agency in 2012.
Our mission was simple: to create an environment where we could make great work for clients we really care about. We love telling our clients’ unique brand stories, combining our creative, digital, and marketing prowess.
We are a friendly bunch of creative enthusiasts who love our agency and look forward to Monday mornings (almost) as much as we love Friday afternoons.

The Role
Every piece of print or digital is a feast for your eyes. You appreciate palettes, angles, and you see the work that has gone into an infographic or a short video clip. You’ll be joining our Creative Team, and developing some of the most exciting creative concepts. Our clients won’t remember what they did before you joined us…
We work across different industries and right across the creative spectrum, we don’t believe in ‘niche’ – so you must be up for a challenge! It can be a sports campaign one week, food packaging the next, followed by a FinTech app design the next – so you must love diversity and be open to embracing new creative techniques and solving different problems. But don’t worry, you’ll be supported all the way by our in-house team along with +30 experienced and talented specialist creative freelancers – the best in the business we think.
We enjoy collaboratively working together in the studio, but equally have been comfortable working remotely since day one, so the pandemic did not cause a big disruption to our working week. Just less chance to go for drinks! You’ll be kitted out with a new iMac and any other tech you need to work remotely or in the studio and daily check-ins are the norm at the moment.
The Essentials
- You’re a super-charged creative with an impressive portfolio brimming with ideas.
- Whether it’s online or offline, you don’t discriminate; you can do print as well as you can do digital.
- You love ideas and concepts just as much as things that look nice.
- Excellent communication is a must: we’re a chatty bunch.
- You’ll be juggling a lot of different projects at once, so time management and the ability to work on different tasks at the same time is a must.
- We’re always thinking about the bigger picture. Being commercially aware is key to this role.
- You’ll be a pro at Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
