Acorn Schools

The Brief

Acorn Care own 16 specialist schools across the UK, looking after over 700 children and adults with a wide range of complex needs. We were commissioned to create a fresh identity and website for each school.

The Solution

Each school was given a fresh brand identity and logo, to represent their unique identity. We endeavoured to strike a balance between uniqueness whilst retaining consistent family feel across the network. Once the identities were established a global website design template was agreed with all stakeholders, the process catered for the needs of all 16 schools.

Content driven, mobile friendly design

Our approach to user interface design is always to ensure we deliver an engaging content driven experience. All the schools have amazing success stories, making a real difference to pupils lives and our job was to showcase this in the best possible way. Using design, photography, video and social interaction our goal was to offer much more than simply an information resource.

The Result

All logos were delivered on time, approved by all stakeholders. The new websites were all produced over the summer holiday period and launched before the new term began in September 2016. An ongoing digital marketing package is in place to ensure SEO, PPC, Email and Social activity promotes and develops all the schools digital presence over the coming months.
